Current version
2026.10.09.1
- RoadplanPro’s website now has dedicated pages about traffic management plans, excavation permits in Copenhagen and a practical product example. Public pages also have dedicated English URLs. Shared links show clearer images and descriptions, and the product video now starts when you press play on mobile.
Previous versions
2026.10.07.1
- Save companies, departments, addresses and contacts in a shared address book and reuse them in projects, plans and applications. Choose which fields to fill, then save later changes in one click or after review. The book lists each company once. Fields stay locked while saving, and changing the selected contact requires a fresh review. Existing saved details are preserved. Retry loading saved contact details without losing your plan edits.
- C61 no-stopping segments now preserve their signs' start, repeat and end roles when the plan is saved and reloaded.
- RosyWeb applications can transfer a confirmed excavation area from your plan and fill your declared excavation details for one location. Review road choices and details in the municipal form before submitting.
- New RosyWeb excavation applications can continue through the map step with the confirmed excavation area. Filling can restart after reloading the extension, and a submitted problem report receives a clear confirmation.
2026.10.06.2
- The Chrome extension now fills start and end dates in RosyWeb excavation forms. Dates are checked again after changing sections, so you are notified if they do not persist correctly.
2026.10.06.1
- Sign dictation now keeps the map still. Undo and redo preserve inserted signs and time labels, and saved plans receive the correct save status.
- The automatically added case email address can no longer be edited or removed. The Roadworks footer appears only on public pages. Login stays centered when you open a direct application link while signed out.
- RosyWeb form filling continues after selecting the applicant role. ROV filling handles the first equipment row and the portal reload after attachment uploads. You still review the information and submit the application yourself in the municipal portal.
- When filling a municipal form, the extension now records technical results without the form contents. You can report a problem directly from the panel so RoadplanPro can investigate missing or failed transfers.
2026.10.03.1
- The homepage explains RoadplanPro's workflow with product videos, annotated screenshots and an application walkthrough. The demo forms share a simpler layout. The municipality overview now lists 98 municipalities with search, Copenhagen first and a status for each permit type: Available, In testing or Planned. The mobile export recording shows the full frame. --- _Generated by [Claude Code](https://claude.ai/code)_
- RoadplanPro has a new, calmer look in the same design family as Roadworks: new typefaces, warmer greys, sharper corners and a dark mode in the same black as roadworks.dk. Maps, signs and exported plans look the same as before.
2026.10.02.1
- The application flow now shows the supported application types across all 98 municipalities. For excavation applications in 36 RosyWeb municipalities, the Chrome extension can check a saved draft; you still complete the remaining steps and submit it yourself to the municipality.
- In the “Along road” and “At parking” planning tools, the arrow line now always stays below the signs. With offset display enabled, signs follow continuously as you drag the segment to change its length.
- Road and work-area layers now appear only when the map is zoomed in enough to load a complete dataset. If a layer still reaches its data source limit, you can zoom in directly from the layer list without losing the map position or your layer selection.
- Sign assemblies show mounting illustrations that can be hidden and retain their visibility on export. Standalone posts hide the illustration by default and replace temporary bases in existing plans. Back faces mirror the support and are available for standalone, shared and existing posts. N44.1 with rail and plastic fencing retain their appearance and name. Project sharing is in the row menu, which stays within the screen.
- RoadplanPro can now fill known details in new RosyWeb excavation applications for 36 municipalities. You review the remaining steps and submit the application yourself.
- Selecting a symbol category scrolls the sidebar to its symbols. C61 + UC60 hides empty backs; after dissolving into sign assemblies, you can enable and edit backs manually.
- When filling a RosyWeb excavation application, start and end dates are now selected manually in the portal calendar while RoadplanPro continues transferring the other known fields. If filling stops during an uncertain change, the panel shows the correct way to restart the transfer.
- You can now describe a work period without specifying a year. RoadplanPro uses the current year when the start date has not passed, otherwise next year. Periods crossing New Year are handled together, and explicit years are preserved.
- RoadplanPro now uses the correct Danish calendar date from a saved plan when preparing a RosyWeb excavation application. Outside Roskilde, select the network part and work type in the municipal form until each municipality's options are verified. The extension briefly waits for wizard transitions and delayed form controls before continuing the fill. RosyWeb references are limited to 20 characters before filling starts.
- Map data requests no longer fail solely because an in-flight request is evicted when the cache fills up.
- Workspace selection is clearer. Choose the workspace you want to open or switch accounts.
- Watch five RoadplanPro tool videos on the homepage. You can also sign up for contact from Roadworks about RoadplanPro and receive the full walkthrough when the recording is ready. Signup requires your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- The product video tabs no longer show a vertical scrollbar.
2026.09.30.1
- RoadplanPro for Chrome now shows the application type and opens the matching municipal form. The panel provides clearer portal access, filling, pause and resume guidance, with improved readability.
- The map editor saves more reliably when signs are moved while a checkpoint is being created. If saving fails, you can now retry or choose between your local changes and the saved plan directly on the map.
- Large map views with road centerlines and edges load more reliably and transfer substantially less data.
- Preview and PDF export now retry map tiles that failed to load. If the map remains incomplete, export stops with an explanation and the option to try again.
- Maps and export previews can now recover when the browser has cached a map image with access headers for the wrong site domain. RoadplanPro fetches the image once more from the network and keeps normal caching for working images.
- If you belong to multiple workspaces, you can now switch between them from the account menu using “Switch” beside the workspace name. The current workspace is marked, and you are asked to save any plan changes before switching.
2026.09.28.1
- The Chrome extension is now named RoadplanPro til Chrome in Danish and RoadplanPro for Chrome in English.
- The application page makes it clearer what is missing and how to submit to the municipality. See the current section's status beside Previous/Next, collapse the AI assistant, and open the submission guide when the information is ready. The guide links to the municipal portal and RoadplanPro for Chrome. Mark as submitted is now in the case menu.
2026.09.27.1
- Plan Assistant now explains errors and specific exclusion reasons before the first start and lets you retry. Plan context refreshes again if its inputs change while loading. The sidebar hides again after menu interactions, keeps selected objects visible, and gives screen readers the correct pin-button action.
- Plan Assistant selects the road section from the work area and can suggest a speed limit from Copenhagen municipal data when the primary source lacks coverage. Suggested speeds require confirmation. We fixed issues with creation, saving and retries, and clarified missing information and limitations. In Plan, the map now explains view mode and provides a clear path to editing. Export has a new icon.
2026.09.26.2
- Plan now guides you step by step: draw the work area, describe the work and start Plan Assistant. If the plan already has signs, you are told right away. The work period and roadworks checks now live under Validate. The map editor has a tool rail, and the panel can hide itself (press S). Selected objects are highlighted more clearly and no longer hidden behind the panel. The project page shows when standard information is saved, and the getting-started list closes once everything is done.
- The website now shows which municipalities and application types RoadplanPro supports and which are being tested. The overview also explains the limits of automatic reply collection.
2026.09.25.1
- Large map exports now show tile-loading progress even when tiles load slowly, and the export can be cancelled. If loading stalls, the message suggests checking the connection; if the export takes too long overall, it suggests a smaller area or lower resolution.
2026.09.24.1
- Projects, Applications and Settings now share the same page header layout. Short descriptions make each page's purpose clear.
- The RoadplanPro extension can now continue between steps in Copenhagen Municipality's application form and correctly handles more of the portal's fields.
- Municipal email attachments are now saved as project files and can be opened from the application case. The case and list show the requested work period and relevant deadline warnings. Project editors can correct the case status with a reason and change the notification contact.
- The BETA edition of the RoadplanPro extension is now clearly marked in Chrome and the side panel, making the test environment easy to distinguish from the regular edition.
- The project page makes the next step easier to see. When creating or editing a project, you can search for an address, place a pin, and zoom the map. Plans that use project defaults, and applications, now take their address and description from the project.
2026.09.23.1
- Fixed an error that prevented sending a password reset email from the profile page.
- Visitor analytics now cover only RoadplanPro's public product pages. The privacy policy explains how Plausible is used, and successful demo requests count as conversions.
- The map editor now remembers the right panel width between visits. The application list shows when applications are loading.
- The RoadplanPro extension can now open applications without a previous submission run. Older versions prompt users to update.
- In the Describe Sign window, dictation and Find a sign now appear below the text field, and the window stays above the map’s bottom toolbar.
- Applications can now be edited until you mark them as submitted. The Chrome extension lists the cases you can access and helps fill the municipality’s form without extra revision or submitter choices. Previous submissions and attachments remain in the history.
- Fixed an error that could stop the Chrome extension when filling was started. The AI panel is shown only when AI filling is enabled for the organization.
- Older versions of the Chrome extension now show an update message before you start filling an application.
2026.09.22.1
- Export now keeps your basemap choice from Draw. Changing the basemap or map provider in Export automatically saves your choice when Standardlayout is selected.
- Fixed portal filling for Copenhagen temporary road occupation applications stopping at the work location step.
- You can reuse project parties and details in an application, fill fields from a typed or dictated work description, and generate the plan PDF directly for the case. Project details save automatically, and the application gets a combined review before preparation.
- You can now choose your language and light, dark, or system appearance in your profile. Your choices follow your user within the same company across computers. Name changes appear immediately, and failed saves show an option to try again.
- RoadplanPro's terms and privacy policy are now publicly available on the website. The privacy policy also explains how the Chrome extension handles data.
2026.09.21.1
- Use W for the work zone, M for measuring, and F for sign search. Buttons show their keyboard shortcuts, and Esc beside Clear appears only while the search field has focus.
- Planning has a clearer panel and improved automatic road details from nationwide sources. Draw, Plan, Validate and Export are grouped in the top menu, and populated details can be edited directly. Data coverage still varies between roads.
- You can now rename a plan directly from its menu on the project page without opening the map editor.
- Signs added with “Describe sign” no longer trigger repeated saves that prevented the plan thumbnail from being generated.
- Fixed an issue where starting a completed application draft could report that the case had changed even though it was unchanged.
2026.09.20.1
- You can now move signs together with work zones and barrier lines in one selection. Signs also follow the pointer correctly after scaling when autosave finishes during the drag.
- Address and road search has improved, and road selections can now be saved without errors. Road names come from DAR, while urban/rural suggestions use the road's registered traffic regime; uncertain information requires your confirmation. Confirmation buttons are more visible, and the Plandata zoning layer has been removed.
- Plan thumbnails update again after changes to a plan.
- Companies with Describe sign enabled can now create signs from a description or recorded speech directly on the map. Time restrictions and supported supplementary panels remain editable and are preserved in saved plans, PDFs and material lists.
2026.09.16.1
- RoadplanPro's outgoing case and invitation emails now have a new visual design with a clear logo, improved readability, and mobile layouts.
2026.09.15.1
- Platform admins can now find signage plans across tenants and create a new editable copy in an existing project for an active user. Plan content, images, and export settings are copied; history, validation, attachments, and authority cases are not.
- The layers panel is easier to navigate with source-based groups, compact menus, and clearer status. Carriageway profile coverage is improved when zooming, and GeoJSON export now lives under Export.
- You can now export several plans from the same project as one PDF. Choose the order and print layout for each plan, follow progress, and save the combined PDF in the project. Material lists remain available when exporting a single plan.
- Multi-plan export now waits for Standard layout to save, so the export starts reliably with the correct layout.
- Multi-plan PDF export is now easier to use on mobile and desktop. Plans now show a thumbnail, full title, and clear actions, and the active plan is retained when the export dialog opens while data is loading.
- Custom distance panels now display the correct distance, and their border follows the main sign. We have also improved how the map editor handles road data and work areas.
- You can open the distance and custom-text editors for signs already placed on the map.
2026.09.11.4
- When map objects overlap, they now consistently follow the order set by Move to front and Move to back. This also applies to sign assemblies, barriers, channelizers, containers, and no-stopping segments.
2026.09.11.3
- The RoadplanPro logo now appears with the product name on every page, while the map editor uses the compact logo to leave more room for planning tools.
